Don't hire leaders. But everyone is expected to be a leader:-)

A direct post on how to build teams via hiring. Goes against the popular 'flat' organizational theme where everyone is expected to be a leader:-)

On one hand, flat organizations boast of higher levels of employee engagement because of delegated autonomy; on another: too many leading directions can delay critical decision points.

What is a good practical solution?
